We are excited to announce that Dr. Laura O’Brien, Associate Veterinarian will be joining our team in August, 2022!
After graduation Dr. O’Brien spent a year at a feline-only hospital outside of Boston, Massachusetts. She then moved to be closer to her family and spent two years working with cats and dogs in New Hampshire. Missing feline exclusive practice, Dr. O’Brien moved to Houston, Texas in 2021 and has been working exclusively with cats since.
Dr. O’Brien completed her Cat Friendly Veterinarian Certificate through the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She strives to make veterinary visits and hospital stays comfortable and stress-free for her feline patients and to provide the best care possible.
Dr. O’Brien has special interest in feline surgery, ultrasound, geriatric care, and critical care. She and her husband have 8 kitty children of their own who rule the house, as well as two dogs and a panther chameleon who serve as their lowly subjects. She is excited to be joining Boise Cat Clinic and looks forward to meeting you and your feline family!
