Noodles Notes – COVID-19 Protocol

Apr 21, 2020 | General Info

Hey Cats! CFO Noodle here.

My purrsonal assistant Ivan and I have been meowing about all this stuff going on with this COVID-19, the Coronavirus.

Now, as we all know, cats aren’t fans of change. We like things just the way they are, thank you very much. Well, here’s a big secret – neither are a lot of our humans AKA our Staff! They don’t like change either! When we go to see the doctor or the technician, they want to be there with us.

Unfortunately, right now, that’s just not possible. You see, this virus is really contagious and it’s new, so there’s a lot we don’t know about it. But one thing we do know is that it can make our Staff really sick. And if our Staff gets sick, who’s going to take care of us?? Who’s going to feed us and clean our litter boxes? Who will be there to anticipate our every need and whim? Think about it Cats, we need our Staff and of course They Need Us!

The vet office is being very careful and cautious because they want everyone – feline and human – to stay safe from COVID-19. That means your Staff, my Staff and of course all of us kitties. That’s why they’re still open. They want to make sure we get the care that we need and even the governor agrees – he made veterinary offices an essential business!

For now, if you need to come to the clinic, your Staff will wait in the car while you go inside to see the doctor and technicians. Don’t worry, your Staff will get a full report of how everything went, so behave yourselves!

So, there you have it, Cats. If you need veterinary care, be sure your Staff calls the clinic. While it won’t be quite the same experience it’s been in the past, there’s one thing hasn’t changed – you’ll get the best care possible to keep you around for all of your nine lives!

Stay Cool Cats!
